Welcome to Belview Church

We are so glad you’re here!

Belview Church was formed in September 1973 when Pine View and New River churches came together as one faith family. We are located on Route 114 (Pepper’s Ferry Road) in Montgomery County, Virginia, right beside Belview Elementary School.

My name is Rev. Laura Beth Gillespie Howell, and it is my great joy and honor to serve as pastor of Belview Church. This church is especially dear to my heart, as it is the place where I was blessed to grow up—surrounded by a loving, faithful community that helped shape my walk with Christ.

Our Mission

Our mission at Belview is to make disciples of Jesus Christ by being a welcoming community that reaches out to all through love, prayer, and service.

Jesus calls us in the Great Commission:

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
